Center School is the proud recipient of a grant from the Seherr-Thoss Foundations.
We are grateful beyond belief to introduce our new adventure classroom.
Designed and built with many of the ideals created by longtime physical education teacher at Center School, Ed Munson, the adventure classroom
gives students a unique space to explore.
Thanks to our friends at Arboreal Edge for making our dream a reality.

Adventure Education
An experiential-based adventure program includes games and activities focused on
communication, problem-solving, cooperation, leadership and conflict resolution.
These experiences are designed to help participants build positive traits such as an increased sense of purpose, pro-social leadership skills, increased interpersonal skills and development of a positive community.
Accomplishing problem-solving activities empowers students to develop creativity and insight
and then apply these skills to real-life situations and future learning.
The reflective component of these experiences leads to positive change.
